To leverage the influence of PGA Professionals, the PGA Magazine General Manager Program was created to engage 2,452 PGA General Managers and Executives, working with them on a continual basis through a website, e-publication, Best Practice e-mails and more. This exclusive network of fellow PGA Professionals, all whom are general managers, will collaborate on topics relevant to golf facility operations.

PARTNER FEATURES & BENEFITS:

General Manager Program Digital Assets

  • PGA Magazine General Manager Monthly (12x issues/year)
    • 2-page spread in each of the 12 issues per year
    • Content contributed by PGA General Manager Program members on topics including: Professional Profiles, Trends, Marketing Your Business, Relationships and Managing Your Business
  • PGA Magazine General Manager Weekly (1x/week)
    • Category-exclusive, banner ad position in 4 emails per year
    • Size of ad banner: 150px (w) x 200px (h)
  • PGA Magazine General Manager Surveys
    (minimum of 2x/year)
    • Logo recognition on each of the 2 surveys
    • Survey to cover, but not limited to, the following:
      food & beverage, marketing, accounting practices, capital equipment, software, golf cars, facility improvements, etc.
  • PGA Magazine General Manager Website
    • Partner will be integrated on the website with placement of logo and banner ads

PGA Magazine General Manager Sampling

  • Partner will have the opportunity to send samples to up to 200 PGA General Managers once per year.
  • Each package will include a personalized letter that will be jointly developed by PGA Magazine. PGA Magazine will provide the letters, envelopes, mailing labels, and follow up contact for each recipient.
  • Partner is responsible for all costs associated with the products, packaging, shipping/postage and handling of samples.
  • All sampling must be incorporated and managed by PGA Magazine.

PGA Magazine General Manager Summits

  • Held 1–2 times annually beginning in 2024, these three day events will together PGA General Managers from around the country for in-depth conversation, networking and golf.

PGA Magazine General Manager Virtual Meetings

  • Virtual meetings (60–90 minutes) with 16–20 attendees consisting of PGA General Managers, partner representatives and PGA Magazine staff.
  • Partner may participate in two (2) Virtual Meetings per year; 1 of 2 partners per meeting.
  • Partner may speak to the group for up to 5 minutes
  • Contact information for attendees will be provided after the meeting.

PGA Magazine General Manager Announcement Email

  • A dedicated email announcing new partnership sent from PGA Magazine to all members of the General Manager program

General Manager Boot Camps

  • These will be held throughout the country in specific markets chosen by PGA Magazine. Each partner may attend up to 2 Boot Camps per year
*A minimum two-year commitment is required for partners.

PGA Magazine General Manager Advisory Team

Access to a hand-selected group of PGA Professionals who are award winners, as well as being recognized leaders in the industry. PGA Magazine is building out an advisory team of 12 General Managers located throughout the U.S. Each partner of the General Manager platform will have direct access to and ability to engage them directly.
