The PGA Assistant Golf Professional of the Year (APOY) platform began in 2017 with the inaugural national conference taking place in 2018. Each year, the PGA awards up to 41 Section winners — the best young professionals and industry leaders of tomorrow. To recognize their achievements, PGA Magazine hosts three regional events and an annual conference bringing the APOY winners together for an opportunity to network with other winners in this category.
