The PGA Merchandiser of the Year (MOY) Conference platform began in 2008 in cooperation with the PGA of America. Each year, the PGA awards one national award winner and up to 41 Section winners. To recognize their achievements and allow them to build long term relationships with their peers, PGA Magazine hosts an annual event bringing these professionals together for an opportunity to network with other winners at Mission Resort & Club.
The PGA Merchandiser of the Year Conference platform has included attendance from every PGA Section over the last 17 years. A total of over 1,405 PGA Professionals attending past winners are in this database and communication continues every year. Over the years, over 100% of attendees would recommend their peers to attend, with hundreds of testimonials available on request.
Invitation is open to National and Section MOY award winners and select members of the Association of Golf Merchandiser (AGM). Events build relationships and cover numerous relevant topics over a three-day agenda. Primary purpose of the MOY Conference is to engage in the expertise of this group in identifying PGA best practices in merchandising that can be shared with all members of the PGA of America. There is no cost for the attendees. PGA Magazine brings up to eight partner companies, participating under long term agreements to each year’s event, with each company guaranteed exclusivity in its category. Partner companies also have the option to participate in four regional MOY Conferences held throughout the calendar year.
