Resorts may purchase a Featured Resort Profile position in the Resort Profile Section of the site. This opportunity allows such sponsors three distinct benefits. • First, the Featured Resort will appear at the top of the left-hand listing (column 2) of the Resort Profile Section (Figure 1). • Second, the featured resort will have its full Resort Profile appear in column 3 (Figure 2) next to all resort listings in the Resort Profile section. • Third, the Featured Resort will have one-week special ad position on all pages of the site, including the home page, just below the scrolling Travel News Section (Figure 3). If the site visitor decides to do a specific search within the Resort Profile section, the left listing will no longer feature the resort if it is not within the search parameters set by the user, but the resort profile will remain in the column 3 position. Once the user selects a particular resort, such resort’s profile would appear on the site covering both column 2 and 3 and the Featured Resort will no longer be displayed.
A special weekly advertising position on the website has been created on the right side of the page under the scrolling Travel News. This location guarantees the advertiser that their ad will appear on every page throughout the site in this fixed position. A minimum two weeks buy is required. This position will be linked to the advertisers website or other pages appearing in the PGA Professionals’ Guide to Travel on PGA.com website. Size Specifications: 280px (H) X 212px (W)
Tourism Boards, golf marketing groups, golf tour operators, resorts or regional destination cooperatives may sponsor custom Planning Guides, or promote existing planning guides on the site. A Planning Guide menu button appears on the site and allows access to a full array of these sponsored advertorial guides on the site for 52 weeks. Site visitors may search for the golf-planning guide of their choice to view or download any of the guides in pdf format. PGA Magazine Publications and Marketing Group will assist in writing, production and design at an additional cost of $1,000 per page if requested. Sponsoring party to provide all photography and logos, royalty- free. In addition, for one week per year, each sponsored Planning Guide will be featured in a special location below the scrolling Travel News. (Figure 4). This location appears on every page of the site for the week. |
